What I'm Working On At the Moment
Around five thousand years ago something happened that changed the world forever. Somewhat suddenly and inexplicably, people began settling in one place, farming and even governing themselves. During this time they invented the wheel, armor and algebra. They somehow gathered knowledge about the universe that modern man wasn't able to confirm until the 1970s. Most importantly, they began to write. From their earliest records we find accounts of 'angels' descending from 'heaven' and mating with the women of Mesopotamia to bring about a breed of giants they called Nephilim. Scientists say these otherworldly visitors were aliens, while theologians believe they were angels. I say it doesn’t matter what we call them; only that they were here. And as for their offspring, the Nephilim, the testimonies of their existence are too numerous to mention, dating back to the first piece of literature ever found (The Epic of Gilgamesh) and continuing to the time of Christ.
This part of our history is significant. What were those Nephilim giants? Were they human or something else? Did they possess souls, like us? If so, what happened to them when they died? Is it possible that these creatures have something to do with the mythical djinn of Arabia—those ‘hidden’ spirits that exist apart from the rest of creation?
In my latest novel, I’ll present my theory about what happened all those years ago and how these lost Nephilim souls—the djinn—remain with us today. I’ve spent nearly seven years gathering evidence from the science as well as religious communities and strangely enough, it’s all started to make perfect sense. For me, at least. Maybe it will for you too. I hope so. At any rate, I expect to have Arabian Nights, Return of the Djinn published within the next year.

The Enchanted Series

This best selling series began with Enchanted, a collection of fairy tales rewritten for adults (you can read more about Enchanted here), followed by Enchanted Again, which was inspired by the rhymes of Mother Goose (read more about Enchanted Again here)and Enchanted Dreams, a terrifyingly erotic collection of paranormal tales (read more about Enchanted Dreams here). I want to thank all my readers for making these books a success!
I enjoyed writing the paranormal one so much that I decided to move into the science fiction genre. In Enchanted Dreams I had written about ghosts, aliens, vampires and even monsters, but for my latest project I wanted to bring in my love of ancient history and theology too. This led me all the way back to Mesopotamia and the legendary Nephilim. I just love writing about this and if all goes well I'll be doing it for a while!
